We opened with 200 rooms and one restaurant on what was then a quiet stretch of Broadbeach. Four decades later the resort has grown into a full city block, but the rule stays the same: everything a guest needs between the beach and the gaming floor, handled without fuss. Founder Margaret Doyle still signs off every renovation.

78 m² corner suite with a separate living room, dining for four, and club-level access. Guests get the lounge on level 20, late checkout to 14:00 and a dedicated host.

The menu rewrites itself around the trawler schedule. Expect Moreton Bay bugs, line-caught snapper, Hervey Bay scallops and a wine list heavy on Granite Belt producers. The seasonal tasting runs six courses with optional pairing.

When do you
want to land?
December to February means 28-degree days, surf patrols on the beach from 06:00, cabana service on level 21 and dinner on the terrace. Book 30 days ahead and summer rates drop 20%.
Summer packagesJune to August stays mild, the whales come through, and midweek rates fall by a quarter. The thermal circuit and the gaming floor carry the cooler evenings.

Check-in runs from 15:00 and check-out until 11:00. Suite guests and casino members can extend to 14:00 at no charge; later times depend on the day's occupancy.
No. The gaming floor, restaurants and bars are open to the public. You must be 18 or over with valid photo ID to enter the casino. Pool, spa and executive lounge are reserved for staying guests.
Valet parking is $45 per day and complimentary for suite guests. Self-parking sits under the resort at $25 per day, free for casino members on presentation of a member card.
Broadbeach sand is a four-minute walk via the resort's east gate. Gold Coast Airport is 22 km south, about 25 minutes by car; our chauffeur service runs fixed-price transfers.
Flexible rates cancel free until 16:00 the day before arrival. Advance saver rates are prepaid and non-refundable but can be moved once with 72 hours notice. Full terms are on the terms page.
